From the moment I booked with these guys they kept intouch and made me feel very comfortable about everything got to the hospital and the staff made me feel so welcome looked after me and my travel companion the nurses were so kind and caring the surgeon kept coming round to see how I was and made me feel so good everything they did was with care and passion I would highly recommend thank you all once again

I did my Gastric Sleeve surgery on the 23 Sept 20204. So, from the time of the engagement on social media until my arrival at the Hospital in Turkey, the experience has been exceptional, above par and all round fantastic.

From the day of my arrival from South Africa I did all the test. The doctor decided that I am ready for the surgery. The first two days from the time of surgery I experienced pain but from third day onwards my recovery process started. I believe it was rapid because I was able to fly back to South Africa without any challenges.

I therefore want to thank the whole team from the hospital staff to the doctors for always having a smile and always willing to assist. You are very dedicated.

Dr. Zafer Cenk Koyuncu, consistently visible and checking on his patience and always readily available to ensure that our healing is in order. I will certainly be doing another procedure with Hermes Clinic, I trust them with my life.

I had a gastric sleeve September 10th with Hermes. Dr Zafer Cenk! I was absolutely petrified about leaving the UK and having surgery abroad because you hear so many horror stories. The specifically wanted this surgeon and to be at Bay Park Hospital as my friend had a sleeve April and recommended him. She was successful and has lost nerly 8 stone to date. Nevertheless I was stil scared thinking all crazy things, praying all would go well and I could get home to my children. On arrival they do soooo many tests bloods, X-rays, heart scans etc they are thorough which was easing just to make sure I was medically fit to have surgery. I was surprised how many international people travel for the surgery. The ward had at least 8 other people there from all over having a sleeve. I braved it and everything went well. I was quite sick as I came round after surgery and I coughed up blood which wasn’t nice Bt it is normal. I was up walking within a few hours of having my surgery. It is quite uncomfortable where the incisions are. And especially the drain that’s relly irritating. The relief you get once that’s out is crazyyy. The first couple of days I was quite sleepy but I just took advantage of getting the rest my body needed. The nurses day and night are amazing, although there is a language barrier they use phones to translate and it works well enough. Surgeon himself very nice, stern man. Knows what he’s doing. He reassured me I wasn’t going to die lol. I am 3 weeks post opp still early days Bt I’m 19lbs down and feel amazing. Gastric sleeve is life changing so I would say to anybody make sure you 100% want it as it is mentally challenging at time. I would say research research thoroughally before doing it to make sure it’s defo right for you. Its a tool it doesn’t change your mindset on food. And although your stomach doesn’t feel so hungry mentally your starving and then you can’t actually eat. The liquid puree diet is the hardest part. Bt now im eating soft foods it is also hard as cant eat a lot and in your mind you want too. I am just happy that i can eat chicken n stuff again because some people actually cant have certain foods again as they get sickness etc. I had a great experience with HERMES couldn’t fault it, and I met some lovely gastric sleeve friends also

I had an exceptional experience during my stay in Istanbul, thanks to the incredible team who helped me with every step of the process. From the moment I arrived, everything was perfectly organized, and I felt completely taken care of.

Hermes clinic changed my life completely, I had gastric sleeve on the 27 of August in less than a month I have lost 10kg,the operation went well and all the staff were lovely and they will answer any doubts or questions,in fact I gave 10 out of 10 they still check on you after the surgery

I am very grateful for the amazing experience. The customer service was great and they were quick to reply and deal with my concerns. The transfer from /to airport, clinic and hotel was stress free and drivers were so friendly and polite. Above all was my beautiful, lovely medical coordinator, Natalia. She is very knowledgeable, professional, kind and intelligent lady. Honestly it is not just a job to her, she puts her heart in it. She explains all the procedure in detail and makes sure everything done to the highest standard. Having her made the whole experience extraordinary and I believe she is a great asset to Hermes clinic. Definitely I will only want Natalia as my coordinator for any procedure with Hermes clinic .
