Review is based on Overall Surgery Experience (too early to review final results):

1. The first issue that didn’t set well with me was the hotel that I was sent information for was not the hotel where I stayed. I didn’t find out this information until I got to the hotel and no one ever spoke with me about the change. I had a before 7am call time and breakfast didn’t start until 8am. We were instructed to eat breakfast beforehand which was a concern since we were not near any breakfast places and breakfast or room service did not start until after 8am.

2. Once Dr. Bircan saw me to draw the hairline he continued to ask me what was I looking for. I had sent multiple photos, lots of communication and consultations and I found it strange that there was no conversation and prep on what was previously sent before my arrival.

3. I chose Dr. Bircan because I was told through multiple consultations and conversations that my hair would not be shaved. Even with the consultation about it they said no cutting. Once I got to the clinic after some initial paperwork was guided to room where the shampoo bowl was an this woman took clippers to my head. Before I could react she had already cut my hair. I was immediately upset! The issue for me is I would have been okay with it being cut but let me go to my barber so he can cut it low in a style, FIRST. They  literally left a mop on the top of my head, uneven and only shaved the middle and left the nape of my head uncut. So I had three haircuts at once. I’m like what do I do with this?!? For 3 hours my heart was beating so fast. It was the unexpectancy of it all. I would have made different decisions if I would have know they would have to cut it. I wouldn’t have gotten it now. I would have gotten it either last October or the one coming up. I also would have gone somewhere else. I went to them because I wasn’t suppose to get it cut. I’m not allowed wear hats either for three months so there goes that. No haircut for six months. I was really overwhelmed with it all and felt violated. I pulled up our communication and they all started with this overwhelming people-splaining and then they swarmed me like three times. It was overwhelming.

4. During the surgery the workers talked the WHOLE time. It was not a relaxing experience. I had a very hard time breathing because of the positioning and when I explained to to them multiple times the woman worker got an attitude. At one point, I just told them to stop as I cannot breathe and no one was listening to me.

5. When it was time for the transplant, that portion was a lot better. I was told that I was suppose to receive Plasma and I did not. I know for sure I did not because, I’ve received it before and there was no conversation or no additional shots that were outside of lidocaine.

6. After the surgery was complete (that was not completed by Dr. Bircan) he only drew the lines where the transplant would take place. I was told that I received 3600 grafts not 2000. Again, an issue for me because there was no communication in the change in treatment plant. I feel that there was over harvesting here!

7. After the surgery, I was suppose have a meal provided by the Clinic. It was uneatable. It was cold and I have not idea what the contents were.

8. The next day was shampoo day at the Clinic which was ok.

9. The next couple days were horrible. I swelled unrecognizable and there wasn’t a lot of information about this.

Overall, my experience was not pleasant. There is so much more I could say but will it truly make a difference.

Poor quality.

To be honest can’t recommend this doctor. 2 stars only for a very good customer service. The quality of final result is 1 star. Where do I begin. The donor area was harvested in patches. Even after growing some hair you can see patches. The transplant area was done by 2 doctors, half head one and the other half by other. You can clearly see that one of doctors was poorly trained as I have bold patch, approx 2 sq cm (no hair was implanted at all, now looks like a scar) + hair direction is all other the place on that side. If you think that doctors after harvesting hair follicles sort them with microscope to separate single hair follicles you are very wrong. First line of the hair of mine has many 2,3 and 4 hair follicles, this cant be undone and look cheap job. Also crown area had 500 hairs done too but no difference before and after, can that be a case? So they do quick and budget work, if you under budget you will be ok. If you want quality- stay away.

P.s if results will miraculously change I will modify this review. However post 5 months and bold patch still there, crown are still balding with no difference.

Turkey is a shining star in the world in hair transplantation. When all conditions are taken into account in terms of service quality and price attractiveness is added to this, it is indisputable that Turkey is preferred.

When comfort is added to the success of Turkish physicians, having an operation in Turkey becomes a chance. Considering all these, I decided to have a hair transplant in Turkey and preferred the Doctor Bircan clinic. The before and after photos on their social media accounts are incredible. It’s great that the change is this big.

We reserved two weeks for my hair transplant. The preliminary examinations and recovery process went smoothly. The medications and lotions I used after the procedure made me feel comfortable on vacation. Of course, I had to protect myself from the sun. My doctor assured me that I would not have a problem as long as I was careful.

For 15 days, we discovered the beauties of Turkey with my family. Turkey can be the center of hair transplants if you ask me. I don’t know of any other place where the chance to travel, quality, affordability and comfort all come together.

When you choose the Doctor Bircan clinic, you can feel like you have a family or a relative in Turkey, and you can have companions with whom you can quickly handle all your affairs.

My doctor said that he will come to England for control examinations. My hair transplant operation had already been quite successful. That’s all I’m going to say for now.
