Dr. Yetkin Bayer Clinics Review

I had a great experience with Dr. Bayer and his team for my hair transplant. The procedure was smooth, and the staff made me feel confident and well cared for. Communication before and after was excellent—they’re still answering my questions and reviewing updates. A couple of weeks in, everything has healed nicely, and I’m excited to see the final results. Highly recommend!

My experience at the hospital has been wonderful. The staff has been incredibly welcoming and supportive, making me feel right at home. They’ve provided honest information and guidance, but it’s important to stay proactive and follow up on all details. I’m eagerly awaiting my final results to complete this positive experience

Kendi alanında en az Yetkin Bey kadar tecrübeli bir doktor tavsiye üzerine Yetkin Beyler ile temasa geçtim. Uzun süre saç ekim konusunda araştırıp sık dokumama rağmen Yetkin beylerle görüşmem neticesinde bana o güveni verdi. Yetkin hocamın ve ekibinin güler yüzlü ve hassas yaklaşımları sayesince ekim işlemi süresince hiç bir problem yaşamadan atlattık. (açıkçası acı rahatsızlık vs hiçbir negatif durum yaşamadım. Uzanmak biraz sıkıcıydı:) Bütün ekibin ellerine sağlık diyorum. İlerleyen süreçte saç gelişim süreçleri ile alakalı tecrübeleride aktaracağım.

I purposely waited for a few months post procedure to write a review as I wanted to see the follow up process and how the results would turn out for me. I have to say, overall it’s been was a positive experience.

The only real negative I’ve had is the miscommunication with the hotel booking between the agent and I. When I booked my flight, I thought I’d get an early one and get to Istanbul at 5am. I asked the agent facilitating the booking if that was an option. He said their Pick up service is 24hrs and to get the flight. I was picked up early morning and the driver took me straight to the hotel. There they told me that my check in was at 2pm. Not sure if it was me being naive, but I thought the packages included special arrangements with the hotels and that I could check in at anytime and this was confirmed by the clinic sending a car to take me to the hotel at 5.30 am. My options were either come back later check in or pay for half a day. I wanted to sleep, so I chose the latter. When I mentioned this to the clinic the following day, they told me to give feedback to the booking agent so that they are aware. I waited to get back to the UK before sending some feedback, to which the reply I got was ‘everyone knows hotels check in from 2pm in most cases’. This left me a bit disconcerted and disgusted by their lack of professionalism, hence why I’ve only given 4 stars. Cos it spoilt the overall experience.

Apart from that, the procedure itself was smooth. I was received well and I was made to feel comfortable and at ease. The medical team was good. Dr Bayer assessed my concerns and we discussed and came to an agreement of what was to be done. I was to go the FUE technique and the transplanted 2400 grafts to my temple areas and front hair line. They knew their job and everything went well. My procedure lasted over 5 hrs. The only pain had to endure was when they were zapping my skull for the anesthesia. After that, it was virtually painless. Aftercare advice was given as well as post op medication. I went again on the day after op for the washing and I was offered to buy their maintainance kit, to which I declined as I already have a good hair regime, including very good supplements. They were not pushy and I liked that. The transfers to and from the hotel/clinic/airport was seamless.

I went through quite a bit of headache and oozing to the point that I thought I was having an infection. I got in touch with them and Dr Bayer got in touch and assessed me. It was not an infection, but just the normal healing of the scalp. It would have been better if they advised of the side effects post op more though. But anyway, he made some suggestions and told me what to take.

The aftercare team got in touch at 1,2 3 4 weeks, 2, 3 4 months for updates and after care advice. I always had questions and they had answers and suggestions to everything.

I’m now 4 months post op. I’m glad to say that overall I’m happy with my procedure and I’m excited to see hairs growing!! I’ve also been extremely on board and followed all post op advice I was given.

So my take on this : definitely go for it and Dr Bayer clinics is a great place to get it done at. However, be aware that they’ll book a hotel as per normal booking procedures, so if you get there early, plan to spend your day before checking in. Also, based on my own experience, especially after I thought I was having an infection, it occurred to me that most of the medications I was being asked to take were not available in the UK and it left me feeling rather isolated. So, if I were to get procedures done in Turkey, and I probably will again in the future, I’d book a hotel and stay for another week post op just to make sure I’m out of it completely before flying back. But that’s just my personal experience

Dr. Yetkin Bayer staff was very knowledgeable & helpful. I had a very good experience and I recommend this place for hair transplants.
