Istanbul Care Review

I really liked it from the first minute. The attention was excellent with Sidorela, via WhatsApp. At all times, they gave me confidence in their treatment. I was very skeptical when I arrived from the trip, but all the confidence, from the driver, the hotel receptionists, the nurses and their specialists, the translator, made me relax and ask whatever I wanted. The transportation was clean and comfortable. The hotel was comfortable and the food was delicious. At the hospital, they advised me at all times and monitored my health, before and after the implantation. A paramedic even came to the hotel to check if I had bled or had dizziness and so on. Absolutely nothing happened to me and the days went by until I was healed. The explanation was very well developed and the time came to return to the airport. It’s a shame because you have an immense affection for them. They have made me feel better than at home. I have to return, in a year. I have been happy to get to know the city and take advantage of saying hello to the Hospital that has fulfilled my dream.

Solo tengo que decir cosas buenas, en primer lugar gracias a Sidorela mi asesora que desde hace un año me ayudó a planificar todo, tuve la opción de pagar un día más de hotel para hacer un poco de turismo en Estambul, mi operación fue el día 16/02/25 la atención en la clínica fue genial, todo muy limpio, impecable, profesionalidad, la traductora Isabel se acercaba por lo menos cada 40 min a la sala de intervención a verificar que todo fuera en orden, de verdad que todo fue excelente. Te ofrecen paquetes de productos y opciones de sacar pelos de otras zonas pero siempre es opcional, al final tú puedes elegir no hay obligación a nada y eso me pareció genial, En tema hotel y transporte fue excelente, muy amables y siempre puntuales.

Ahora a esperar por lo menos 6/ 8 meses y ver el resultado del injerto y dar una opinión final.

De momento solo tengo que decir que la atención desde el momento que pisas el aeropuerto es de 5 estrellas.

Desde el primer contacto con mi consultora personal de nombre, Sidorela, quien ha sido de gran ayuda, respondiendo todas mis dudas, dándome toda la información y confianza necesaria. Hasta la finalización del proceso, ha sido una experiencia positiva. Para mí el camino todavía está por delante, necesito tener el seguimiento, tener los cuidados y esperar los resultados.

So let’s start off the hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere, so if your going hoping to see and do what you see everyone else do on Tik tok etc you defo will not lol, got chased by 2 loose dogs so would not recommend venturing out! Especially on your own. There’s no options for food etc so although you get breakfast your options for the rest of the day are slim! Although I do have to say the hotel staff are lovely the hotel it just isn’t what you expect at all.

The transfers they give you provide no specific times and give you a very vague ‘we’ll be there between 12 and 3’ which I think is very inconvenient.

What they don’t tell you when you book is that this procedure is done in a university so essentially it’s students performing the transplant, possibly trainees.

So basically I went there, paid – had bloods done and waited. Then I was taken into a room where they drew on my ‘new’ hairline and started to shave my head. The hair line is legit the exact same as my current hair line like if not a couple of mm on the edges it was so pointless but they said that’s all they can do. I decided to proceed anyway as went all of the way there etc it had to of been worth it.

With that and already feeling nervous I’m in a room with around 4 people & I’m sat on a chair. I was then given the disclosure to sign, whilst reading through the document I was huffed and puffed at almost to hurry me up into signing sooner, first red flag.

The guy who is to be doing the procedure is sat on his phone watching Tik toks and laughing. Another person who’s shaving my head is also laughing, then another nurse dropped a utensil and I’m 100% sure put it back on the tray. I just felt so uncomfortable and everything seemed so unprofessional & pair that with the language barrier and the laughing I felt so self conscious and on edge i decided I couldn’t go through with it. So I got up left the room with a half shaven head. (That is as far as I got – no procedure had started)

From there I was trying to be persuaded to continue and go in for the procedure but my mind was made up I just really didn’t want to go ahead. I was billed £800 cancellation fee, on top of my £85 deposit. I got given back £380 from what I paid. (Which is absolutely crazy, there was never once anything signed or told of any cancellation fee especially at that price!! – If somebody doesn’t feel comfortable to go ahead they should not be billed THAT much for it, understand hotel fees etc but that is a complete joke)

Just goes to show they are all for the money.

I went with my friend who did go ahead and have the procedure done, we are yet to see if this has taken and if it’s worked but he did advise it was extremely painful – they also bill you for additional items on top- for the after care and shampoo etc he was billed £250. If you want anaesthetic it’s an additional £140 all of which they don’t tell you when you book and isn’t part of the original price so if you don’t take this money with you I don’t really no what happens there?

On the second day when my friend went back to have his wash, they were extremely pressuring for him to write a review, even offered to do it for him in his phone!!! When he said he didn’t have signal they said well you’re on the phone right now! So I wouldn’t believe half the reviews on here they’re problem wrote by the staff

Over all I just wouldn’t recommend at all, go somewhere more professional completed by trained professionals not just uni students!!!

Stay. Well. Clear.
