As soon as I booked to go with Longevita I was navigated through the entire process by the friendly and trained team members, on arrival in Istanbul all staff members were brilliant during the entire process at the clinic. I would say to anyone thinking about going with Longevita then just go for it.

I would like to thank all the clinical team members and reception staff for their friendly and professional attitude on the day of my treatment.

I feel totally disappointed. I would not recommend this clinic. The first tell tale sign is that the driver that picked me up from the hotel was bad mouthing the company.

The staff are unprofessional, my treatment did not start till 4pm and I noticed the surgeon I selected was not going to perform my hair transplant but a male senior technician. This is what they tell you on the telephone and email and show 3 surgeons but you are left with technicians.

The clinic is dirty and hygiene standards are poor. While they were performing the transplant, my door was left open so everyone could see me.

The other technicians were laughing amongst themselves and showing their phones to each other while the senior technician was inserting the follicles. The interpreter went home around 6pm and I was left to use Google translate. They went on an 2hr and an half hour break while I watched my transplanted hairs just lying on the trays.

My transplant is a mess and I’m left with lines on my face and scar patches on my donor area. The after care is non existent. I contacted them and they kept saying it’s shock loss do not worry. Once they have your money they do not want to know.

It’s been about 2 years now since my transplant so not expecting any more growth from here on out, so thought I would do my review on the final outcome.

The overall experience of the transplant was pretty good, I arrived in Turkey and was picked up by transport and taken to the hotel. The hotel was nice and accommodating.

The experience of the transplant was also good. My translator communicated everything the main surgeon wanted to relay to myself, which was that 3,500 or so grafts should give me enough coverage to fix my receding hairline.

I believe the Dr made the incisions and the techs did the rest. The next day I went back, was given my first wash and was handed all the aftercare.

I can’t really fault the experience itself. However the result wasn’t really up to my expectations.

I’m still firmly of the belief that the skill of the two technicians must of been different as the result on the one side of my head is much poorer than the other. I did not pay for only half of the transplant to look successful. I now have to use the one side of my hair to cover the poor result on the right when I can hopefully eventually get a second transplant done elsewhere to improve the appearance.

It is a shame that the result wasn’t up to my desired expectation because like I said the experience itself I can’t really fault, but at the end of the day its the result of the transplant which matters the most. I have waited two years to write this review and I am being as honest as I can about my outcome and experience.

I did confer with Longevita over email around exactly a year ago, explaining that I wasn’t overly happy with the result at the time, who offered a touch up revisit for a discount price of £350. However I wanted to wait another year to see if things improved, but unfortunately the desired outcome is still pretty poor on the one side. I don’t really believe you should have to pay anything if the final result is as poor as mine looks on one side. Also, given the time spent off work, flights, etc, this is still a lot of time and money to be spent revisiting a place that didn’t give me my desired outcome in the first place, so why would you want to revisit again?

I would advise anyone thinking about getting a transplant, to really do your research. If i could do it again, I would skip the cheaper options and I would of saved up longer for someone who is a singular operator operating out of their own clinic. You never know where you will be sent with Longevita or what Dr you will have performing the surgery, so It is hard to cross reference with specific results online.
