Vera Clinic Review

Never in my life did I think I would want a hair transplant (FUE), but here I am. I started to notice that I was thinning out around the crown area of my head, which definitely affected my self esteem. I started to do research into thinning hair about a year ago, and immediately jumped into using Finasteride and Minoxidil, Biotin, thickening Shampoos and Conditioners, etc. One day while on YouTube I stumbled upon a video of someone going to Türkiye to have an FUE hair transplant done. It immediately peaked my interest as this could be a long term fix to a long term problem. I watched a couple of videos on YouTube of people’s experience using Vera Clinic, they detailed everything from the initial What’sApp consultation, to the months following their operation. I compared Vera to other clinics in their area and ultimately settled on Vera. I am beyond grateful, impressed, and thankful to have used them, as they were amazing from beginning to end. Other clinics in that area rush you through the pre-op all the way until the end, but not Vera. The doctor took his time with me during my Pre-Op consultation, asked me about my concerns, gave me his medical opinion, and had me feeling very optimistic right before a pretty serious operation. I had my procedure done on Nov. 25, 2024, and am now 17 days post op. I feel great and am excited to see my results in the near future. I HIGHLY recommend Vera Clinic for all of your FUE transplant. I just returned home from Phase 1 at Vera Smiles, with my bestie. It was a truly wonderful experience from beginning to end. The lady who orchestrated the whole thing was nothing short of amazing. She went above and beyond her job description, from helping retrieve our lost luggage to seeing how my procedure went soon after it was done. It felt weird if I missed a day while in Turkey and didn’t get to talk to her. The hotel she set up was one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, with a phenomenal free breakfast every morning, beautiful swimming pool, and a hair salon. The clinic, I can’t say enough about my Dentist and all the staff at Vera Smiles. I had a translator with every visit, but, alot of the staff spoke some English. My Dentist was very personable and kind, even though he didn’t speak my language very fluently, we still communicated, if that makes sense. He even let my friend sit in and watch the whole procedure, which is unusual for a procedure like mine. Every person I came in contact with, were true genuine, professional people with loads of kindness and compassion! Even the drivers who took us to and from the clinic to the hotel everyday. The facility was brand new, and very clean, cleaner than most of the offices here in America! I met a lot of people while I was in Instanbul, who utilized Vera Smiles as well, and never heard one single complaint, everyone I met also seemed very pleased! I can’t wait to go back and see everyone again for phase 2!

Everything was well coordinated. My medical consultant Nilay was very helpful, informative and responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had before coming for my hair transplant. She also followed up with me after my procedure to make sure I was ok and gave me important reminders to follow post operation. I was initially a bit nervous before coming into the clinic. But after meeting the staff, doctors and especially the translator who guided me from start to finish of the operation day, I felt more calm as the operation proceeded. The translator was also very friendly and along with the other staff, she made sure I was taken care of during the whole process. They provided instructions to follow after the procedure and still keep in touch to check in on my progress. Transportation between the airport, hotel and clinic was also a smooth process and overall everything turned out to be a great experience.

The entire experience was smooth and professional. Very clean, modern clinic and all staff were very helpful and friendly. Communication throughout was clear efficient. Would definitely recommend using their services and can’t wait to see my results in a year’s time.
