Excellent experience throughout. Once you go through it, you understand why the process is so expensive. One highlight to say it all: starting at 7am, we were all very tired when the procedure ended around 4.30pm; and yet, the surgeon still skimmed patiently through my donor hair to uncover 25 stray grafts, which were then added to the implanted bunch. Relentless investment of additional time and effort for the last 1%. Chapeau.
The staff were excellent. They explained everything in simple terms. Their care before, during and after the surgery was exceptional. They were all very friendly and supportive.
I met at the lovely location in Withington Manchester in middle of January 2025, I met with the lovely Sophie who explained everything to me in simple ad understandable terms and also brought in the surgeon to consult with me, the very nice Dr Meena Zareie. Both gave good advice and was not pushy or sales in any way. I had then decided to use them for the surgery, the price was more than reasonable for the services offered.
I was booked in for mid February. On the day of the surgery I was in there for 8am for Sophie to go through everything and make sure I was happy with everything, then at 9am I went up to the 3 surgeons being lead by Dr Meena Zareie. They explained everything again, taking photos etc showing me everything I needed to be reassured, which I was.
It did take about 7 hours, but I had about 3000 grafts, it was only a little painful but hardly anything to be worried about.
Overall, I am so far really really happy with everything and especially the look so far.
The after care is excellent with texts asking how I am and phone calls including daily emails explaining what I need to do.

From start to finish the care was excellent.initial free assessment to talk through the process and check I was suitable. Procedure lasted about 5-6 hours. After shaving my head and cleaning my scalp local anaesthetic was applied to the donor and recipient areas. Approx 2000 micro incisions were made in the recipient area, following which around 2000 hair follicles were harvested from the back of my head. These were sorted into single, double and triple hair follicles. Two surgeons one a neurosurgeon and the other a plastic surgeon harvested the hairs .then 2 technical assistants re implanted the follicles. Sedation was with 10 mg of tablet diazepam and included a high reducing course of steroid prednisone to reduce inflammation. I enjoyed the whole experience, and enjoyed chatting to the team throughout. At one point I fell asleep. The local anaesthetic is obviously a bit painful but after that it is fine. I did not feel any discomfort with harvesting of reimplanting the follicles. Daily aftercare fu for 10 days was with what’s App and sending update pictures. It is advisable to take a week off work to relax and care for your care with frequent saline spraying and gentle shampoo. The recipient scalp site will be a little reddened / tender for 7-10 days. Over the next 5-6 weeks grafted hairs will fall out but the follicles remain to grow hairs. When I went back to work everyone thought I had just had a short / skin head hair cut. Over the next 5-6 weeks the grafted hairs fall out and new hair grows over the next 3-4 months and is maximal by 12 months. Tha anticipated success of each transplanted follicle is 90 % . Excellent ! Elise who sat and went through the post op routine with me was very friendly and helpful. Safura, Isabella and Eva were the technicians who completed the extraction and implantation. They were so friendly and chatty. I was made to feel very comfortable and relaxed throughout. Dr. Bari who marked out and prepared my head for the transplant was incredibly friendly and talked me through the whole process.
