Name Review

I had my previous review removed so I am re-adding it now and being very careful with what I say. As I have had an interaction with this business, it has been quite negative. There is DODGY setup going on with two very similarly named businesses called harleystreethairplant. One is .org and one is .co.uk. They may or may not be related, eg current or former business partners. Again I can’t say anymore because I am being silenced by them.

Basically I warn ANY customer to be HIGHLY cautious interacting with this business. I have personally lost £1000 to a deposit for surgery that never happened, I never got a refund and now I am initiating a chargeback via my credit card company. It has taken heaps of my time and effort and I have been lied to by an individual who I can’t name as my last review was removed. I recommend steering clear of this business. I interacted with Kevin, a very sociable and kind appearing person who I would never believe would end up treating me this way. I urge everyone to be very careful dealing with this company. I paid a £1000 deposit in October 2023 for a December Surgery date. They cancelled this at the 11th hour, only after I called them. Communication got significantly more difficult as soon as I paid the deposit. After a gruelling (50+ emails), they agreed to refund my deposit. This was end of February 2024, it’s not May 2024. I was promised it would be refunded by 19th April 2024, nothing….I would be really skeptical now interacting with this company. So far, they have taken at least £50 worth of my money through expected interest and cost me magnitudes more of that in my time and effort. I am going to make some efforts with the ombudsman and my credit card company to see what my options are. Save yourself some hassle and go elsewhere!!!

Very happy with the process so far. With a busy schedule I wasn’t too sure about taking 2 weeks of work but we managed to get the procedure booked within a month or so of my initial consultation so I was able to plan around it all easily.

The team were very helpful in assessing my aims and suitability for the procedure and answered all my questions and concerns. They also offered the use of a facility in Manchester which I preferred so I wouldn’t have to use public transport post procedure.

The procedure itself was a little uncomfortable at the start but I understand this is completely normal until the numbing kicks in. Both Dr Ditta and the two technicians were very experienced and comforting during the procedure. They handled my complications easily and I knew I was in safe hands.

I had initially been looking at 1900 grafts but when we sat down to design my hairline more grafts were needed and I had a healthy donor area so we upped it to 2500 grafts at no additional cost.

Currently on day 12 post procedure but the scabs came off on day 10 ahead of schedule, my aftercare routine was explained clearly and I was given everything I needed.

My advice to anyone considering a transplant is that the procedure itself and the day after are a little rough but worth it. It’s definitely a big factor knowing your surgeon is experienced and you’re in good hands. I’ve recommended the team to friends of mine who are considering the procedure and would encourage people to use the team at the Harley Street Hair Transplant Clinics.
