Smile Hair Clinic Review

I came all the way from Canada to Smile Hair Clinic for a hair transplant, and I have to say, this experience was beyond what I expected! I did a lot of research beforehand, and one of the big reasons I chose Smile Hair Clinic is because their doctors are internationally recognized and super experienced. They’re not just any clinic – they’ve even won an International Health Tourism Award from Turkey, which really put my mind at ease knowing how credible they are.

When I arrived in Istanbul, everything was so smooth. They picked me up directly from the airport and took me to this beautiful 5-star hotel. Smile Hair Clinic arranged everything, which was a huge relief because the last thing I wanted to worry about was booking hotels and figuring out transportation. They just handled it all for me.

The first day was for relaxing, which I definitely needed after the flight. The next morning, I got picked up from the hotel and taken to the clinic. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warmest smiles (fitting, because they are Smile Hair Clinic, after all!) and it immediately put me at ease. Everyone was so friendly and professional – I could tell right away I was in good hands.

After filling out some paperwork and doing bloodwork, I had my consultation with Dr. Reşat. I cannot say enough good things about him. One of the main reasons I chose Smile Hair Clinic was because Dr. Reşat actually plans and designs the hairline himself – by hand. This was so important to me because a natural-looking hairline is everything. When I saw the outline he created for me, I knew I’d made the right choice. I haven’t seen the final results yet, but I already love what he’s done.

The procedure itself went smoothly. I’m not going to lie, the anesthesia part was pretty painful, but the surgical team was incredible. They took their time and kept checking in on me, making sure I was okay. I really appreciated how patient they were, especially when it wasn’t the most comfortable experience. Once the transplant was done, Dr. Reşat came back to check everything and gave me detailed post-op instructions. I had tons of questions, and he took his time answering every single one of them, which I really appreciated.

The next day, I went back to the clinic for a follow-up, and they changed my bandages and even did a hair wash. Again, everything was done so professionally. Smile Hair Clinic also offers some great products like topical minoxidil and finasteride, which I ended up getting after doing some research. I’d definitely recommend looking into it if you’re thinking about it.

Honestly, the whole experience was just amazing. Every single person I interacted with, from the drivers to the hotel staff, the clinic staff, and the surgical team, treated me like family. I’ve never felt so taken care of. They’re not just about getting the procedure done and moving on – they really make sure you’re comfortable and happy the entire time.

One thing that really stood out for me was the aftercare. I’ve been sending them a million questions, and they respond so quickly and in full detail. I was honestly worried that once the procedure was done, I’d be on my own, but they’ve stayed in touch every step of the way. It’s such a relief knowing I can still rely on them even after leaving the clinic.

They also give you a bag with everything you need for aftercare – medications, soaps, lotions – along with a booklet that walks you through exactly what to do each day. It made the whole process so much easier.

In short, I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re thinking about getting a hair transplant, I would 100% recommend Smile Hair Clinic. They’re everything you’d want – professional, caring, and incredibly experienced. I’ll update this review in a year once I see my final results, but for now, I’m beyond happy with how everything went!

I know there are a lot of negative reviews online about this clinic, but I want to share my honest experience. This was my first time in Istanbul, and I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went and how safe I felt throughout the process. I was picked up at the airport and taken to a large hotel where breakfast was included. The next day, I was picked up again for my hair transplant.

The atmosphere at the clinic felt a bit unusual, but I think that’s just part of the experience in Turkey. Overall, everyone was very kind to me. The doctor was also nice; she didn’t stay for the entire procedure, but she took the time to let me think carefully about what I wanted, what was most important to me, and what was possible. She was very transparent and gave me the freedom to make decisions without any pressure or judgment.

The three other staff members who performed the operation didn’t speak much English and chatted amongst themselves for about nine hours straight, which was a bit overwhelming. However, I understand that it’s a long day for them too. After the procedure, the doctor checked in and asked if I wanted anything adjusted, but everything looked good to me.

I was the last patient at the hospital and felt quite tired, but overall, I felt fine. The next day, they washed my hair before I left for home. Now, I’m seven months post-op, and honestly, I haven’t felt this good in years. My hair transplant looks great—it’s getting thicker and growing well, and the clinic continues to keep in touch with me. I wanted to wait before writing a review, but I genuinely have nothing negative to say about this clinic.

right from the information and assistance before the operation, they proved to be available and present. In my case, they also recommended products to cure alopecia that was bothering me and which would not have allowed the transplant. Assistance lasted months, in which they were always close to me without asking for anything. We set the date of the operation in the clinic. From the moment I arrived to the day of departure, everyone, from the drivers, to the nurses, to the personal translator, up to the medical staff, was of excellent professionalism. All accompanied by a welcoming and reassuring smile.

In addition to the professionalism, recognized internationally, the clear and sincere information, they put something that is fundamental, their heart in what they do. Compliments!

Absolutely cannot recommend Smile enough. Very professional and attentive team. Far more aftercare than I anticipated. Regular check ins by mobile to check progress. My transplant was 6 months ago and the results so far are excellent.

Everything from getting informations prior to committing to the hair implant to arriving in Istanbul at the facility all the way to the procedure and post operation… Smile Hair Clinic staff was nothing short of amazing. I just celebrated 1 year post hair implant and I am thrilled with the results. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs hair implants.

Just finished my 9 month checkup on my second procedure and everything is looking great. Between the two procedures I got a total of 6500 grafts (3800 for front, 2700 for crown and middle). Both done at Smile Hair Clinic a year apart and I would definitely recommend them if you are considering the procedure! The results are great.
